Direct Action

 

Definition: Non-violent or violent direct action is taken upon by groups intending to reveal an existing problem, highlight alternatives, or demonstrate solutions to social problems. Some examples of non-violent direct action include sit-ins, strikes, and hacktivism. Examples of violent direct action include political violence and property destruction. Direct action is a type of protest.
